Introduction:

This machine raises a certain weight of an impact hammer to the specified height and then releases the impact hammer to act on the steel head between the safety shoes for impact test, and then inspects the degree of steel head subsidence to understand the safety quality of the safety shoes. The second impact function, safely eliminates the misjudgment of the test caused by the second impact

Test preparation:

1. Take a pair of untested shoes from each of three different sizes of shoes to make a test piece.

2, find the center axis of the shoe (see standard data for drawing method).

3. Press down the upper by hand, find the steel head in the direction of the central axis and take a point 20mm backwards, and draw a marking line along the vertical direction of the central axis after this point.

4. Use a utility knife to cut off the toe of the shoe (including the sole and insole) from the marking line.

5. Use a steel ruler to draw a straight line corresponding to the central axis on the insole, which is the central axis of the toe cap.

6. Install the fixture and impact head according to the test requirements of the safety shoe impact testing machine.

7. Preparation of clay column: For shoes of size 40 and below, make a column with a height of 20±2mm, for shoes with a height of 25±2mm), and cover the upper and lower surfaces of the cylindrical clay with aluminum foil Make a mark on one side of the cylinder of cement paste or other anti-sticking materials.

Test method:

1. Cut the toe cap 30mm away from the rear edge of the protective toe cap, and then remove the entire upper part flush with the rear edge of the protective toe cap. Do not remove the upper and lining in the toe cap area. If the shoe is equipped with a movable insole, it should be in place during the test.

2. Put the cylinder on the inner end of the sample, and then put the sample on the impact tester so that the impact test hammer just hits it. The hammer should extend to the rear and front of the protective toe cap. Adjust the clamping device.

3. Drop the impact test hammer from an appropriate height onto the test axis, and reach an impact energy of (200±4) J for safety shoes or (100±2) J for protective shoes.
